Volunteer at the Bracknell Samaritans Run
Get Involved with the Bracknell Samaritans Run, 27th June 2020
Even if you don’t run, there are lots of ways you can help support the Bracknell Samaritans Run.
As a charity event, the Bracknell Samaritans Run is organised entirely by volunteers and relies on a further minimum 80 – 90 volunteers to deliver a smoothly run event on the day. There are many ways you could help in the run up to the event, on the day and even the day after!
Some of these roles include helping out at registration or at the water stations, marshalling along the route, set up & take down, handing out medals, manning one of the (refreshment) stalls, setting out signage along the course, marketing the event & raising (corporate) sponsorship.
As you can see, we have some fantastic opportunities to help make the 2020 Bracknell Samaritans Run the best yet and we would love for you to get involved!
Planning and organising this event takes months and a huge commitment from those involved. As the saying goes, many hands make light work. Can you help make our load a little lighter for this year’s run?
Please fill in the form below if you would like to chat through any of the above roles in a bit more detail. We would love to hear from you!
Fundraising for Bracknell Samaritans
The annual Bracknell Samaritans Run is the biggest fundraiser for our local Samaritans branch, based in Bracknell. If every entrant for the 5k or 10k run could fundraise £25, we could raise enough money to keep our local Samaritans branch operating for over 6 months! Could you help raise an additional £25?
