Bracknell Samaritans Run Celebrity Guest Jet from Gladiators!
Diane Youdale aka Jet from Gladiators joins the Bracknell Samaritans Run!
We are delighted that Diane Youdale, aka Jet from Gladiators, will be joining the Bracknell Samaritans Run again in 2020 as our celebrity guest! Diane first attended the Bracknell Samaritans Run in 2019 and her kindness & friendliness blew everyone away. She was an absolute delight to have on the day and we are very grateful she has agreed to return again at this year’s run. Thanks for your continued support Diane!
Diane is a former gymnast, dancer, actress & TV presenter and was a huge hit in the popular Gladiators TV show in the 1990’s before retraining as a psychotherapist and now works promoting her own health, fitness & lifestyle business.
After her fabulous career in Gladiators, Diane fulfilled a life-long ambition to study the mind and train as a psychotherapist. She’s no stranger to mental health issues, having struggled with an eating disorder in her teenage years and we are very grateful (and excited!) she has decided to support our local Samaritans branch by attending the Bracknell Samaritans Run again this year!
“I became ‘Jet’ on ITVs original Gladiators following a career in gymnastics and then a choreographer, dancer and Fitness Professional. Apart from the Gladiating bit, the others have never stopped. The addition of becoming practicing a Psychotherapist / Counsellor and Coach for some time now helped round off some of my understanding in all things messy and mostly human!”

Fundraising for Bracknell Samaritans
The annual Bracknell Samaritans Run is the biggest fundraiser for our local Samaritans branch, based in Bracknell. If every entrant for the 5k or 10k run could fundraise £25, we could raise enough money to keep our local Samaritans branch operating for over 6 months! Could you help raise an additional £25?

✋EVENT CANCELLED - COVID19✋
Regretfully we have taken the very difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Bracknell Samaritans Run due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly as it will have a significant impact on our fund-raising once again but as I am sure you will appreciate it is very difficult to plan anything with any certainty in the current climate whilst maintaining the necessary levels of health & safety for all those involved.
We will be in touch with everyone who has already entered over the next few days to discuss the options available. Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support of our charity.
We hope to see you at our 40th event on Saturday 25th June 2022. Please save the date!!
In the meantime, we hope you all keep well and stay safe.
