5k / 10k - 1030 hrs

Registration

Registration opens at 0900 hrs and will be located in the main marquee.

The 5K/10K races will be signposted at Registration so please stand in the relevant queue to collect your number bib and timing transponder on the day. 

Please ensure you complete the medical details on the back of the bib in full.

​

Late entries (subject to availability)

Kids' Race

Opens 0830 hrs.  Closes 0930 hrs.

5K & 10K

Opens 0830 hrs.  Closes 0945 hrs.

Cash or card only.

​

Headphones

The use of headphones or any music playing devices is NOT permitted during the race, except for bone conducting headphones. This is for your own safety as listening to music may distract you from being able to hear instructions from race officials or other runners on the course.

​

Medals

All 5k /10k finishers will receive a bespoke Samaritans Run medal.  All children taking part in the Teddy Bear Kids Run will receive a themed medal.

​

Parking

There is free parking on site. Please arrive early and follow the directions of the marshals as it is expected to be busy.

​

Toilets & changing rooms

Toilets and changing rooms are available in the pavilion opposite the main school Reception.

​

Bag storage area

There is a free, supervised bag storage area on site.

​

Refreshments

Refreshments will be available to purchase on the day.

 

T-shirts

A limited numbers of t-shirts and running vests will be available to purchase on the day.

​

Photos

Photos will be available to download after the event.

​

Dogs

We regret dogs are NOT permitted on the school site.

​

Transfers

In Advance

If you are unable to participate in the race and wish to transfer your place to someone else in advance, please click on the change link in your confirmation email to update your entry.

 

On the day

Transfers can be made on the day BUT you must inform the registration desk prior to the start. All changes must be processed no later than 30 minutes before the event start time.

 

If you give your race number and timing chip to someone else, without following the transfer process, then that person would NOT be covered by event insurance and the runner will be disqualified.

 

Note that no refund will be issued for a swap from 10K to 5K but there will be an additional charge to swap to the 10K from the 5K race.

 

Withdrawal

Should it become necessary to withdraw from the race once it is underway, please ensure you report to the nearest marshal.
